- Give your topics clear and concise names and post in the correct boards.
- In terms of foul language, keep it PG-13. Iffy language should not be directed at someone in an offensive manner or used in an argument in a way that could stir trouble.
[li]ALWAYS make sure something similar to your topic hasn't already been posted. If there are a lot of threads under the board already, and you want to post the topic "Who is your favorite character?" then that topic likely already exists.[/li]
[li]Check that the board you're posting under isn't requiring you to use any labels. [/li]
[li]In terms of content: once again, PG-13. Nothing graphic or overly sexual, especially in the range of images. If something may be triggering, warn members at the head of your post. [/li]

~ Replying to Threads ~
- Everyone has the right to their own opinion. Debate civilly, but no one has to conform to your idea. Take a step away if things are getting heated.
- DO NOT SPAM boards that aren't in the spam section. This means replies like "" or "cool" or anything that doesn't support the topic aren't needed. Again, spamming includes anything that is unrelated to the topic.
- No double posting, even in the spam sections. Double posts are only permitted in boards where a member is updating their story with a new chapter, or if a topic needs bumped for a specific reason -- usually only the staff will need to double post for this reason. THE EDIT BUTTON IS YOUR FRIEND.
~ Advertising ~
- Do not advertise any of the following:
- Other forums or fan websites that could drive traffic from the forum
- Personal blogs or sites that have no relevant reason to be shared except to attract attention to something else and away from this site

- Links to YouTube and other video sharing sites
- Links to quizzes or "cool sites" that can stimulate conversation (ex: www.rainymood.com/)
- Links to articles that cite or explain more thoroughly a concept of the topic

~ When the Staff Step In ~
- Staff reserve the right to delete threads if need be.
- If necessary, staff may merge threads, edit text within threads (to block out a curse, for example), or move threads to a different board.
- Upon breaking one of the rules, you may receive a written PM warning from a staff member. Don't take offense to these!
- Continuous failure to adhere to the rules will result in a temporary or permanent ban from the forum.
- Feel free to always message any member of the staff about any problems you may be having! In fact, we encourage you to. Be sure to check our FAQ, though. Here's a list of moments where it may be best to message a staff member:
- Having an issue with another member
- Having an issue with another staff member
- Having an issue with your own account settings
- Concerned about another member's behavior or account legitimacy
- Disagreement of how the staff handled and issue
- Etc etc!
